1. The system provides a flexible and intuitive RTS-style control scheme.

   1. Selecting Formations

      1. Single Selection: Left-click on any unit to select its entire formation. This will deselect all other formations.

      2. Box Selection: Left-click and drag to draw a selection box. Any formation whose center is within the box will be selected.

      3. Multi-Selection: Hold the Multi Select Action key (e.g., Shift) while clicking or box-selecting to add to your current selection without deselecting others. If you select a formation that is already selected, it will be removed from the group.

   2. Moving and Shaping Formations

      1. Simple Move: After selecting one or more formations, a short right-click on the ground will command them to move to that point. They will maintain their current shape and relative positions.

      2. Reshape Formation (Single): With one formation selected, right-click and drag on the ground. You will draw a line that defines the new front of the formation. The system will automatically calculate the number of rows and arrange the units to fit the width you have drawn. Release the mouse button to confirm the move order.

      3. Reshape Formation (Multiple): With multiple formations selected, right click and drag to draw a line. The system will arrange all selected formations along this line, scaling them proportionally and maintaining the specified spacing between them. This allows you to create a long, cohesive battle line from several smaller groups in one simple action.

   3. Tactical View

      1. Hold the Show Waypoints Action key at any time to see where all your formations are currently headed. If Show Path To Waypoint is enabled, you will also see the path they intend to take.
